  • 1

    bottle dry white wine

  • 2 cups

    pear nectar

  • 1

    inch piece fresh gingerroot, peeled and sliced

  • 1

    vanilla bean, split

  • 1

    cinnamon stick

  • 1/4 cups


  • Golden hard rock candy stick, for garnish

  • Triple sec, optional


  1. In medium saucepan over medium heat, combine wine, nectar, gingerroot, vanilla bean, cinnamon stick and honey. Bring to simmer. Do not boil. Turn off heat and let steep for 20 minutes. Strain and serve garnished with candy stick and a splash of triple sec, if desired.
